The suffering in the Middle East continues unabated. Thousands have left Iraq and are fleeing into Jordan. Many families who have sought refuge there have no warm clothing, blankets, heaters or even food. The approaching winter can be deadly without the basic necessities. They need help now before the snow comes and the temperatures plunge. A kerosene heater costs $55. Warm blankets for a family of four cost $75. Food parcels that will last 3 weeks cost $50.
