Beginning today (June 6), Denson Mushitala and Titus Shampande are taking a team of Hub Leaders to a remote area called Mufumbwe (Moo-foo-mm-bway). This is in the Northwestern part of Zambia west of Solwezi. They plan to return next Monday the 15th. I have attached some pictures of the men I know will be on the team. Pray for them.
They will be going into villages sharing the gospel one on one and in open-air preaching. They will camp out in tents, cook their own meals and basically rough it while they endeavor to share the gospel and plant a new church in this remote area. Pray for their health. Many of the men battle with malaria on a continual basis.
Please keep them in your prayers. Some of you have contributed to this mission outreach. Thank you. Your gifts supply the needed maintenance on the vehicle transporting the men, fuel, food and literature.
They were able to borrow a generator so that the Jesus film could be shown and amplifiers used to preach the Gospel. The Zambia ministry could use a generator of its own. Please pray with us that the Lord would raise up partners to share this $1000 need.
Pray for Denson and Titus and the team of preachers and the people that will hear the precious Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only one who can give them eternal life, an eternal hope. He is the ONLY remedy for our sin. Many will have to turn away from ancient tribal traditions and ancestral superstittions. More will have to be persuaded away from the many false cults like Jehovah's Witness and Islam. There are plenty of works salvation "christian" churches out there too. This team of faithful men will be bringing the Word of God to these lost souls needing the Savior.
Jesus has died for their sin. He is in heaven ready to mediate for anyone who will "call upon His name." These ambassadors represent Christ Jesus and are willing to "beg" them to be "reconciled to God." You and I have the privilege to be partnered together with them in prayer as they plead with this souls.
Lets pray that God will break down the barriers keeping them from "hearing" with their hearts so that they might believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. May the Lord Holy Spirit empower the preaching team and convict the loss as they hear the message of the Gospel. May they have faith to believe the preached Word.
